Is there any point?

Is there any point in going through life, if you're going through it alone?

Is there any point in achieving anything if there is no one to share it with?

Is there any point in having free time if all you do is watch "Friends" re-runs. Alone? Because at least while you're watching friends you can forget, just for a few minuites, that your phone didn't ring all day.

"Nothing makes us so lonely as our secrets"
-Dr. Paul Tournier

How very true.

  • Get a book if you want some satisfaction. Torah is always a hot read.

You're still a baby, don't be so frustrated with life. Take it serious, but don't take it so hard if it doesn't go perfect as soon as you want it.

  • I know it's hard to wait.

How about doing something enjoyable in the mean time while you are waiting. Like take up a hobby?

  • In terms of a hobby- you have got to be kidding me. I work full time (9-5), go to school full time (18 credits) and use the remaining few hours to do laundry, buy some groceries or see my family or friends. It's not that I sit around and mope, on the contrary, it is the few minutes here and there that catch me off guard and leave me waiting for something better.

  • the answer is yes, there is a point. obviously. there is a reason why you were created ALONE, and you can accomplish and progress ALONE even without anyone knowing.

  • I can almost feel your feeling. I also have an intense personality. At one point in my life, I also went to school full time and worked full time. You have to give up something. You want love, how can you get it when you are only pre-occupied with youself?
The goal to healthy living is to "will one thing".
You seem to have a good default personality, just keep your head up.
